Valentino Fall 2020 Couture: Dramatic and graceful performance
The 2020/2021 Valentino Winter 2020 show turned out to be something completely mesmerizing and magical. The pandemic has given the world, and the fashion world in between, the opportunity to rediscover themselves, re-evaluate something, and move on with new ideas. Over the weeks, high fashion shows have been held in a number of original ways.
The creative director of the Italian brand, Pierpaolo Piccoli, presented a cinematic staging at Cinecittà Studio. The show was broadcast live on social media. At first, Pierpaolo traveled to Rome. Where Valentino formed and focused on the empty streets of the city. In collaboration with photographer Nick Knight, Picholi took the collection photos to a new level.
The models posed against a black background, fired in a single action. The models hanging in the sky emphasized the majesty of each dress. If we evaluate Valentino's testimony in one word, we can really call it dramatic.
